general strike in 1934 
In 1934, full Second English Republic, being president of the republic Niceto Alcalá-Zamora, Liberal Republican Party Right, all over the country, riots were happening due to job insecurity. In Onil because of the precariousness and multiple redundancies, general strikes were generated during the months of April, May and June.
