VLC on iPhone , iPod Touch and iPad
Yes, it seems surprising that Apple accept an application as well. Already done for iPad (albeit unstable) and now comes the new version of the famous media player for iPhone 3G / 4G 4 and iPod Touch.
Before if you wanted a iOS video, we had to turn to the specific format for viewing. Now, with VLC just have to drag the video to iTunes almost any format and this we will open it. The problem I have is that the mkv and HD video (720p) can not be played fluently and have not been able to put subtitles srt, but time to time.
is great news for you jailbreak your device does not want to do this, but unfortunately those who have an iPod Touch 2G or less we have to do jailbreak and go to cydia to at vlc4iphone . From here I encourage you to jailbreak iPhone 3G or even if you have 4 and test functionality of which could have iOS and we want to deny, how to integrate Flash into Safari.
not forget that VLC is free and is published under license GNU GPL, so the binaries are available on the web in case anyone wants to take a look. Lately
